In 2014, Unmute Dance Theatre Launched the ArtsAbility Festival — a platform celebrating artists with and without disabilities and creating space for diverse voices, stories and artistic practices.

Through dance and performance, ArtsAbility brings people together to experience the possibilities of inclusive arts and to challenge perceptions around disability and creativity.

This video captures moments from the 2023 edition of ArtsAbility and the artists who contributed to making the festival a celebration of movement, expression and inclusion.

At Unmute, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to create, perform and participate in the arts.
